Blessed When You Believe

1. Sometimes we, too, doubt and miss out on blessings because we're not around when they come. (John 20:24-25)

* Why was Thomas not with the disciples the first time Jesus appeared to them?

--Maybe he had something "better" to do.

--Maybe he'd lost hope.

2. When you're around, you're going to see Jesus. (John 20:26-28)

* When you start looking for Jesus, He's going to find you.

* There's only one disciple (Thomas) who didn't have peace, hope, and joy for 8 days.

3. If you will just believe in who Jesus is, you'll be blessed. (John 20:29-31)

* Verse 29b ("Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.ā€) is about us today.
